I balance creative flow with grounded pragmatism. I delight in blowing up expectations, in completely surprising new friends as to the depths and range of my intellectual curiosities.  An old soul even as a child, I am an empathic listener and believe in the nourishing power of human connection.

I was the proverbial "Good Girl" once.  Excelling at every subject, never staying out late, never hanging out with a crowd that might cause worry. I went to a private college on a music scholarship, playing bass clarinet, and still carry a fondness for classical music and American musicals. I studied the arts and writing, produced an art show and lived in NYC while earning my degree. A geek at heart, I prefer to hang out with the guys and still stare at beauty magazines like they are written in a foreign language.
