Super exciting news! My first ever travel date. I've always stayed close to the Bay Area doing this work, but a couple of weeks ago, one of my regulars told me he wanted to take me to NYC with him on a business trip. Wow, exciting for sure. It's been years since I've been to manhattan and I'm looking forward to seeing how that city feels now that I've lived in San Francisco for close to eight.
I learned my "city pace" in Manhattan...it was the first big city I've ever lived in. During college, we had an arts program that had us living in the upper west side for the spring semester. I'd always loved musicals and theater, but this is what gave me the taste for seeing it live, and often.
This won't be a "working vacation." My time is mostly reserved for my client, and during his business meetings I plan to take in what I can...to visit my favorite museum (The Whitney) take in a matinee musical or walk a familiar neighborhood.
I'll be out of the area from Oct 11-14, and back and available on the 15th.
